No weaving experience required.
This comprehensive 6 week course guides you in the use of a 4 shaft table loom to weave your own cloth. Enjoy the satisfaction of taking yarn right through to finished fabric. We’ll learn to dress the loom and weave a small sample, then we’ll plan and produce a simple article of your own design like a bag, scarf, cushion, or table runner. Ilka provides a 4 shaft loom to keep with you and use throughout the course (and some weeks after). A full set of thorough notes and all sample yarns are also provided. It’s pretty lovely!

Plus a celebratory ‘Show & Tell gathering some weeks later when looms are returned and finished projects celebrated! (Date to be arranged at the group’s convenience).
